Countries where nature and landscape are an integral part of the scenes that are offered to the visitor. Small historic centers but where you can admire great works and surprising narratives.
Day 1: Arrival of the participants in the early afternoon at the Lucan Dolomites" guided tour of Castelmezzano (PZ) located in the green heart of the region. In the evocative landscape, the town appears to us set in the rock that suddenly rises from dense woods, from the ruins of the Norman-Swabian castle, to historic buildings of particular beauty and portals of exquisite workmanship, from churches to small chapels, to the stairs that lead more and more on top of the country. Continuation to the hotel, room arrangement, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Irsina (MT) with a past rich in history. It is a strategic medieval center which saw the presence of Longobard, Byzantine and Norman-Swabian settlements. Guided tour of the Greek and medieval quarters and the imposing cathedral dedicated to S. Maria Assunta where it will be possible to admire the only existing sculpture in the world by Andrea Mantegna depicting St. Euphemia and other well-preserved works. Visit to the "Treasures of Bradano" exhibition where in a multimedia environment the journey that Roberto de Mabilia made in the mid-15th century from the Veneto region is recalled, bringing with him the magnificent work of art by Andrea Mantegna. Typical lunch in a restaurant, short time available and return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Guardia Perticara (PZ) they call "the village with stone houses". The village where the stone worked by skilled craftsmen proudly shows itself with portals, stairways, arches, balconies, marries with wrought iron balconies, and enters the alleys without resistance. Immersed in the scents of the Sauro river valley, you can admire, among other things, the mother church dedicated to S. Niccolò Magno and the church of S.
